SOAKING SYSTEMS FOR DAIRY FARMS!
Especially during the hot days in summer, cows suffer extra from heat stress, Next to cooling through wind chill, cows love to take a shower. As soaking is a method of cooling which only slightly increases the relative humidity inside the barn, this is the ideal and failsafe solution to reduce heat stress. The ideal combination is a soaking system with the special VHV fans from TOPCOOL! A guaranteed remedy against heat stress throughout the year..
We have basically 2 systems: using 170 degree special nozzles (2,7l/min at 2 bar pressure) for soaking lines installed above headlock/feedgate for cooling cows in the barn or 360 degree nozzles (same water output) to be mounted from the ceiling to be used in e.g. waiting rooms or special shower areas.
All systems are supplied with all connectors, inox or PVC pipes (diameter depends on length line, but mostly 40mm), suspension material, quick connectors, ball valves, etc etc.
In combination with the correct fan and THI control, soaking is the ideal way to give that extra bit of cooling for dairy cows on extreme hot days.
